October 2026
Shadow / Play / Tender Mystery
Autumn has begun to close in.
The light changes. Evenings become more private. Things feel a little stranger, softer, less obvious.
October is about the parts of us that appear when life becomes quieter: instinct, curiosity, play, appetite, shadow, and the things we do simply because they make us feel more alive.
One small world, made around one idea.
About Olga
I am not writing to you from the finish line
For years, I kept arriving at the same question through completely different parts of my life.
As a teacher, I wanted to understand how people learn.
In tech, I learned how systems shape behaviour.
As a volunteer, I met people rebuilding after loss, addiction, relocation, career changes, and lives that no longer fit.
And somewhere along the way, I became convinced of something very simple:
People do not always need fixing. Sometimes they need witnessing.
Catalyst Muse came from that idea.
I am 36, living in the Netherlands, raising a family, standing at another career crossroads myself, and trying to build something of my own while I figure out what comes next.
So I am not writing these letters as someone who has solved life.
I am writing from the road.

Communication has become faster than our capacity to be present
We can reach almost anyone instantly. And yet so much of modern communication arrives carrying a small demand.
Reply.
React.
Catch up.
Do not forget.
A letter behaves differently.
It does not ask you to answer immediately.
It does not disappear under fifty newer messages.
It does not tell you that you are late.
It waits.
You can hold it. Fold it. Leave it inside a book. Find it months later.
Someone thought of you. Someone made this. Someone believed it was worth the stamp.
The Mail Club
October is just the beginning
Catalyst Muse will become a monthly correspondence club.
If you want to know when recurring membership opens, leave your email and I will write to you first.
October remains a one-time €14 edition.
Founding Issue
This is new
October is the first full Catalyst Muse Mail Club edition.
I am building this project in public — from sketches and bad first ideas to paper tests, finished artwork and the envelope that eventually lands in someone else's hands.
If you are here early, you are seeing the beginning rather than a polished history invented after the fact.
I like that better.
